Program Overview:-In any society or country, one of the major factors of economic growth is human capital. If we don’t provide women adequate access to education,
health care, and employment, we lose half of the countries potential. Gender equality and women employment bring huge economic benefit. In a highly patriarchal society in which, the remnants of
male upmanship is still evident, many of our actions causing damage to the provide of woman hood get passed off as a natural phenomenon. It is high time to realize some starting facts about women’s
role in the family society and nation building, to appreciate the need for change in our approach to women. The impact of gender stereotyping on our attitude towards women in general has a bearing on our
understanding of the needs of women. This programme will also help in understanding the need for change in our management style vis-à-vis the women’s needs. This will make the women to do their job
happily and more productivity. This will make the women to feel safe in the workplace and the society in general. This course aims making the officers the need to understand the concept of gender
to bring about gender equality in work place. It will help them in taking sound personnel management decisions keeping the gender concerns in mind.
