Program overview: 

As the managers move up the hierarchy in the organization their role and responsibilities changes and span of control increases. To effectively discharge higher responsibilities, the managers need to broaden their horizon and should be able to plan outside- in apart from being able to see inside- out

This programme is designed to make the participants aware of the latest trends in Organizational Development and Management tools & Techniques to help them see their application in the departmental context. The course is also designed to expose participants to best practices in managing postal network and postal business within India and best practices of Foreign Postal Administrations.

Objectives:

At the end of the programme, the participants should be able to:

(i) Explain the role and challenges for the senior level postal managers in he current context;

(ii) Prioritize his/her activities to ensure effective use of resources for optimum results;

(iii) Devise a system of measuring performance against set goals and use various techniques of measurement and management at his/ her level in the practical situation;

(iv) Enumerate lessons from best practices of other organizations and other postal administrators

(v) Share best practices in managing postal networks and in generating additional revenue through postal network
