Course: International Training Programme on Leadership Development for Postmasters and Managers
Context: The Course is designed in a manner to provide a platform to share the experience of India Post in managing the operations and improving quality of service in Project Arrow Post Offices through transformational leadership. The lessons learnt can be applied by the Postmasters and Managers of other countries in improving the functioning of their Post Offices and lead their organization towards better quality of service.
Objectives:
At the end of the programme, the participants should be able to:
(i) Know the focus areas for managing operations in a Post office efficiently.
(ii) Identify the Key Performance Indicators for ensuring quality of service.
(iii) Identify customers, their requirements and ways and means to meet customer expectations through services of the Post Office.
(iv) Make an action plan for change and monitor the progress as per the Action Plan.
(v) Develop themselves as an effective leader of the Post Office team.
(vi) Adopt the principles of Project Arrow experience of India Post in developing the Post Offices in their countries
